6 months, only 4 more to go!! (Seis Meses, faltan quatro mas!)

We made it to the six month mark and all still seems well. I go in for my Glucose test this week. I hope that I test ok for that. I do not have a sweet tooth by nature, but I can't seem to get enough of sweets now during this pregnancy. I'm getting worried that it could backfire on me. I made it a point to buy some yummy fruits at the farmer's market yesterday to stave off the sugar cravings.

We have started playing music for him. The other night we had some classical music on headphones over my belly and he seemed to enjoy it as I could feel him moving around close to wear the headphones were. We read in Justin's book that stimulating a baby with music and talking / reading can lead to a happier, healtheir, smarter baby. I hope so!!!

He's also been getting a good amount of rock n' roll though, as I am finishing up my last month with the Radio Sweetheart. I'm sad to leave the band, but gotta get ready for mommy-hood! With so much music stimulation...I hope he grows to love it as much as we do. Someone came up with a brilliant plan this weekend. If he learns the drums, then we have a full family band! Justin on guitar, me on bass, and our little bean on drums!! We can call ourselves "The Smiths"...oh wait...that's been done...ha!

After our trip yesterday to the farmer's market, Justin and I took a walk up to the Barnsdall Art Park for a little iPhone photo shoot (my camera ran out of batteries!). We had fun taking the photos and enjoying the sunshine at the park.
