You are 5 months old. You are my "pichito" as I call you. My cute little man. You can be so serious sometimes then unleash the most beautiful smile all within seconds. You melt my heart.
The separation anxiety has begun on your end now too. If you see me or your dad walk out of a room you get very upset. If someone else is holding you and one of us is in your line of site you will stare us down like saying, why are YOU not the one holding me?! You have even started reaching out for one of us to hold you when you are in someone else's arms.
There are a few other cute things you have been doing, that I just love! You have, a couple of times, cupped my face in your little hands and brought me closer for kisses. You'll open up your mouth and stick your tongue out for "besos". I love to kiss your face all over and you just love it too. Especially when Daddy and I both give you besos at the same time. You just lie there with the cutest look on your face.
You are a super awesome "Hi-Fiver" too! Daddy has been hi-fiving you for a while now and you now do it back to us when we say "hi-five"! I'm pretty sure too, you are going to be sitting up in no time. You keep doing these little baby crunches like you're trying so hard to sit up. I'll pull you up and you are happy as a clam to be sitting, however, if I let you go...down you go straight to your toes..."Oh, hello toes!"...Yep, you LOVE to munch on those toesies of yours.
You are still not the biggest fan of tummy time, but for the past few days it seems like you just can't stop rolling yourself onto your tummy. Every chance you get you end up doing tummy time. However, you have yet to roll back. I'm sure that will come in time, for now, I'll keep trying to show you how to do it.
I seriously can't imagine my life with out you. I love you so much. Every time I'm away from you all I can do is check the time to see how many more hours until I get to see you. I'm so bummed about the new commute to work. It feels like it takes me forever to get back to you now.
