Not only is today your cousin Natalie's 19th Birthday (Happy Birthday, Nati!), but it's also your 4 month birthday!!! You are such a big guy! Literally. You are big for a 4 month old and I love it. You are strong and have the cutest baby fat rolls!! We don't have your 4 month check up until next week, so I have to wait and see how much you have grown since your last check up. I can't wait. You are already filling in your 6 month clothing.
In the past week you have become very, very vocal. You have found your voice and you love it. You chat with us all the time. It's so great to hear you Ahhh and Oooohhh all the time. And those squeals! You are also starting to laugh. We haven't heard a full blown laugh yet, but oh you are so close with those chuckles. Especially when daddy takes you in to your room before bath time. That's your favorite time to laugh for daddy.
You are showing signs of wanting to sit up. You keep trying to pull yourself up, but are not quite there yet. You do love sitting in your bumbo a lot more now and you are so aware of everything around you. You are grabbing onto things and yep, they're going straight into your mouth!
We've started taking you to music classes this month. I love going with you. You seem to really enjoy it. We do a lot of vocal rhythms and silly songs, and then we dance together. You have fallen asleep in class a couple of times, which leads me to believe that you love music so much it relaxes you. I can't even get you to nap this easily at home!!
