Our Easter Weekend

Diego had the pleasure of finally meeting his Tia Jenny and Tio Tony and his primos Ale and Auggie. We had an adventure filled weekend. Friday we went to Griffith Park and the older boys rode the ponies and we all rode the choo-choo train. We tried the merry-go-round, but it was just too big and too loud! None of the boys liked it. After all the fun we went back to our favorite neighborhood diner for lunch where we decided that in a couple of years when all the boys are running around, we're going to get them sleeveless jean jackets with "Los Primos" spray painted on the back. We're inducting them into their own "gang"!

On Saturday, we met the Artiga cousins and the Bevacqua cousins at the Beach. It was Diego's first time by the Ocean. I think he kind of dug it. His little toes touched the sand and he seemed pretty happy about it. It was fun to see the other boys run around and cover themselves up in sand! I bet those were some sandy baths they took later in the evening. Ale had filled up his pockets with sand....enough said!

Then on Easter Sunday after visiting Great Grandma Smith we headed to Tia Adriana's house for the egg hunt and despedida de los tios y primos. We also celebrated prima Natalie's 19th birthday! We're sad to see Tony, Jenny, Ale and Auggie go back home to Portland, but we'll be seeing them soon!!!

What a great weekend we had!
