You are now 9 months old. You are becoming such a little person and less of a...well, lack for a better term, a blob. Ha! Your personality is shining through. You are a true BOY! You love rough and tumble play with your dad. You love when we "scare" you and play peek-a-boo. Your belly laughs are the most amazing thing I've ever heard! You are also becoming the cuddliest of babies. I never knew how awesome a hug or a kiss could feel until you came along. Your wet little kisses all over my face are AMAZING and the way you lean up against me when you are playing with your toys just melts my heart.
New things you are doing this month:
- You finally figured out how to clap
- You dance to your favorite tunes
- You figured out that cars and trucks roll and you've started to "drive" them around
Favorite things are:
- Your new music table toy that you can pull yourself up to and play. It provides endless hours of entertainment. I just love watching you touch the different instruments and dance along.
- My iPhone. It started out as a good chew toy, but now you like to watch and play with the baby apps. Thank goodness for baby apps!!!
- Your little truck that plays one of those tunes you like to dance too.
Your 9 month stats are:
- Weight: 19 lbs even - 25%
- Height: 28 inches - 40%
This past weekend, we took you to Palm Springs for one more dip in the pool before summer officially came to an end. I think you definitely enjoyed it much more this time. We definitely enjoyed splashing around with you. I can't wait to start taking you to swim lessons.
