I picked them up from the Airport on Wednesday night. D was sleeping, so he didn't see them until Thursday morning. What a surprise!!! Thursday morning, we met up with Tio Tony and Cousin Auggie and had breakfast at a "make your own" pancake joint. Afterwards, the girls and D all went Thrift store and Antique Shopping, while the boys went back to Tio Tony's house. Later that evening, we met up with Gabe at Powell's, hung out for a little while there then, headed back to our place to make dinner for our crew and the Bevacqua crew. My tiny apartment was FULL!!
The next day, we drove out to Beaverton to take a look at the house my sister owns, then we had lunch out there, and went down to Woodburn for the Tulip Festival. Then it was back off to our place to get ready for dinner. My sister and Nati have a friend here they wanted to connect with for dinner, so we met with her in downtown, Friday night.

Saturday, the whole clan headed off to the Oregon Zoo for their Easter Egg Hunt. It was crazy crowded but it's always fun to take the kids to see the animals. D loves the Elephants (he says "pawoooo" every time he sees one) and the Monkeys. After the zoo we went back to the Bevacqua house for a relaxing Saturday afternoon. They have such a great garden to hang out and relax in.

Easter Sunday, we had a tiny egg hunt at our complex for D (a practice run), then it was back to the Bevacqua house for the real deal, and some good food. We were so lucky that the weather was pretty darn perfect. It made for an extra special time.

I found him chilling on the chair snacking, so content. Love this moment.
Monday, we headed up to the Mt. Hood area, a place called ZigZag and found a nice trail to hike on. It was gorgeous! Old Salmon River Trailhead. We walked right next to a gorgeous crystal clear river, had a picnic lunch, then headed back home. Gabe wanted to hit Powell's one last time, and the girls wanted to do a little more shopping, before meeting up with the Bevacqua's for one last dinner.
Sadly, on Tuesday, we had to say goodbye. Tony and Auggie came by and picked us all up in the van. We had one last stop at Voodoo Donuts and then off to the airport where we had a very teary goodbye. I was so sad to see my family go. Please come back and visit real soon!
