My parents left back for LA at the beginning of June. It was weird adjusting back to life without them. We finally had to put D in Day Care. He goes to his Tio Tony's 2 days a week and to Day Care the rest of the week. He adjusted quickly to going to Tony's. He LOVES it there. Of course, he's got his cousins who he had bonded with since we first got here. He's been letting out a squeal of joy whenever we arrive to their house.
Day Care has been harder to get used to. We've had some hard drop offs and some meltdowns (had to leave work a little early one day to pick him up), but it's starting to get better. Today was a good day for D. He walked over to me this morning and said "Bye Mommy" and didn't even flinch when he left with daddy.
The month of June was also quite hectic in that we found a new place to live. This marked our third move in thirteen months. It was pretty exhausting, but we did it. We couldn't be happier with the new place. So much more room for D to run around, and a third room for Auntie Carms to move into. She's moving up from LA at the end of July! Yay!
