We're getting settled in to our new place finally, so we decided to have a little 4th of July BBQ. It was fun to be a host again. I pride myself on being the hostess with the mostess, but its been a long while since I've been able to throw a little get together. Definitely feeling a little rusty, but I did my best.

We didn't even have to go anywhere for fireworks. Our whole neighborhood was on "fire". it was so much fun!

Last weekend, it was promising to be a scorcher in PDX...Finally! We have summer!!! Of course, I thought well, I'm gonna take advantage of the weather and take my son to the beach. Lo and behold it was COLD at the beach!!! I should have expected this. We lasted a couple of hours and then headed right back home. But not before managing to have some fun first.
