So somehow, somewhere, we convinced Auntie Carma to move up here from LA. And so the time has finally come. Justin flew back to LA on a Wednesday night. Thursday, he helped pack the Uhaul up, and on Friday morning they set off on their drive. It was D's Great Grandma and Carms in one car and Justin and Grandpa in the truck. They arrived home by Saturday evening. D couldn't have been any happier when he saw Auntie Carma walk through the door. On Sunday, while everyone was here unpacking the truck, I made my way to Union Station and picked up the rest of the Smith Crew. Little sister Sara and her boyfriend Matt and little brother Alex (who's not so little anymore!). I was able to take Monday and Tuesday off work and spend some time with the family. Great Grandma and Grandpa left Wednesday, and the kids left on the following Sunday. It was great having everyone here. They will surely be missed!!!
