On Sunday, I picked up my neice Nati and her boyfriend Zacc, and we met up with Tia Ge y los primos Do y Da in Pasadena. We visited the Pasadena Museum of California Art. They had a mini version of the Street Graffiti exhibit we missed at MOCA. Afterwards, we walked over to Islands for a quick lunch. Well, that quick lunch turned into a 2 hour ordeal. Lunch with kids isn't easy!! HA! But it was so much fun. I love how Da is so sweet with my D. Always caressing him or stealing little kisses on the forehead. Those boys are so so sweet. I think my D really enjoyed being with his primos.

Pasando El Dia Con Los Primos Artiga (spending the day with the Artiga cousins)
This past weekend was a busy one. D was invited to a birthday party. It was the first time I got to really see him interact with other babies. It was so great to see him get excited over another tiny human. He would gently reach out to this other little boy Hudson, who was only 6 months old and gently touch him. It seems like "mishy mishy" (pronounced meeshee meeshee) is working! That is our Spanish way of teaching a baby how to be gentle and caress instead of grabbing and poking. It doesn't always work with him, as evidenced by the scratches around my lips, but every once in a while, he seems to understand it.
