D's first Winter Holiday Season

It's been a super busy Holiday Season. I've been meaning to post for a while now, but with the move and all, it's been hard to find any time.

Just thought I'd share some photos from D's first Christmas.

A few days before Christmas, we took D to "Twinkle Town" or "Candy Cane Lane" as the kids call it these days. He loves lights "la luz!" So I knew he would get a kick out of this place. Sure enough, he was pretty awe struck with all the pretty lights to look at.

Then on Christmas Eve, we spent our first Dinner with Great Grandma and opened up a few gifts. D had a blast playing with Great Grandma's gift box.

Boxes are so much more fun than the actual gifts.

Sneaking in a little more turkey with Great Granny!

After Great Granny's we went to Abu and Oma's for our 2nd Dinner of the night, but unfortunately, D was pooped out so we put him to bed.

Christmas morning (YAY!! D's Bday!!!!!) we opened a few gifts that we had received earlier and wanted to hold onto for that morning. Afterwards, we went to Tia Yeaye's house to celebrate with the family. We always love a chance to see our Primos!

More presents!

Da excited about his gifts

Do loves his gifts too

Even D got MORE gifts!!!

Do is so scared that D is going to take his toys away!!!

LOVE this one! Tia Ge con primes Da y D.

D couldn't get enough of Da! He went up to him and started hugging him.

It was the sweetest thing ever!!!

I don't wanna!!!!!

After Christmas, things got crazy. The movers came that Monday to pack up our belongings and take off to Portland. Justin left for PDX on Tuesday with my car. That afternoon, D and I went to my cousin Ad's house to spend one last day with all the cousins. D loves playing with the big kids. He follows them around every where.
Sharing!

Poor D got a little scared when we sat him down on the boy's laps, so he didn't quite make it into this shot.

On that Thursday, D and I flew to PDX on a one way ticket. I am ever so thankful to have been able to spend those last few days in California surrounded by our family. We love you guys and miss you tons.

But onward....We are now in PDX and have been here a little over a week. The move has been pretty crazy, so I haven't taken many photos this past week. I finally got to do so today. My cousin Tony and his wife and kids took us to the snow. I'm so happy that D has another set of cousins to play with. We miss Da, Do & Teth a ton!! But we are thankful to have Ale & Auggie close by.  We had a blast at the mountain today. So much fun that I'm exhausted!! I'll be posting pics from today's adventures tomorrow.

Goodnight.
